Staff Nursing School for Girls

Under this BTM organization we had registered an organization called Christina Charitable Organization. The view of this organization is to establish medical institutions for the young girls. We were in the aim of training the girls as nurses. Because Nursing is the art of loving, the art of devotion, sharing pain and sorrow, providing comfort and the art of taking care of the sick.

Considering the out most sanctity of the profession and ready availability of employment opportunities in the foreign a school of nursing. As we were praying about is wondering fully God answered to us. In a very short period we were abled to have the nursing school to have the nursing school. By the permission and enforcement of the Government the Christina Charitable Organization accepted to take up the school of nursing in the year 2003. The course of this school is General nursing and Midwifery (G.N.M.) the period of study is three and half years

The main aim of this nursing school is to develop an aptitude for the profession they have adopted, to give comprehensive nursing care to patients in all types of illness and teach the principles of healthy living. And also train the students to work and encourage in continuing medical educational program. To develop skill in and ability to plan personalized nursing care for the physical mental and emotional manifestation of the sick person.

At present Christiana School of Nursing is running the training course with 120 students that is 30 students for each batch. The school had been recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (Federal Government) the government sanctions a small amount of scholarship to the student. But it is not enough for their course of study. Each student nurse has to face many expenses related to the course. But many of them are very poor. The expenditure for each student per year is up to US $ 1200. But the government sanctions only US $ 400.00 for the student per year. And so it is not sufficient for them. Beside this tutors come from far of the city and teach the lesions for the students. There are 10 tutors and 2 doctors in the staff. The doctors are the part time tutors for the students.

The course of the study is being thought on the basic of hours of teaching. For the First year students all the subjects consists of 575 hours for the second year students 450 hours and third year 400 hours of teaching. The tutors are paid US $ 4.00 per hour. But our means are not sufficient for all these expenses.

For all these needs we are looking to God because everything is possible to HIM only. We would like to share our needs with you to pray more to for our ministry. And also we bring all valuable support and love offerings towards our ministry and our Institutions.
